A total of 8,545 people chose this type of accommodation, 30% last year, as reflected in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ine.es\/jaxi\/menu.do?type=pcaxis&amp;path=%2Ft11%2Fe162eoh&amp;file=inebase\" target=\"_blank\">survey of non-hotel tourist occupation<\/a> also reflects that most of these users &#8211;5.524&#8211; were of domestic origin, while 3,021 were living abroad that marked an average stay of 2.61 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By contrast, they fell travelers staying in campgrounds and shelters, almost 30% and 18% lower respectively than in May last year. Thus, the Galician campsites recorded in May to 4,411 passengers and 11,708 overnight stays, 31.5% less while the average stay was 2.65 days.<br \/>\nSimilarly, shelters were down 18% in its users, up to 323 foreign&#8211; one and only, and 20.5% in overnight stays, up to 410, with an average occupancy was 2.82% of their seats.<br \/>\nFinally, the Galician rural tourism remained virtually stable compared to a year ago with a total of 17,719 travelers (+ 0.98%) and 26.308 overnight stays (+ 2.8%). The average stay is still less than two days (1.48 days) have increased their prices per 1.17%<br \/>\nIf we see this<strong> sector of non-hotel accommodation<\/strong> (apartments, campsites, rural tourism and hostels) in Galicia were recorded in May a total of 22,271 overnight stays, 45% more than in 2015.
