{"id":26582,"date":"2017-02-28T12:32:26","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T12:32:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/desarrollo.clusterturismogalicia.com\/the-galician-ornithological-resources-were-present-in-the-fio-of-extremadura\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T12:32:26","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T11:32:26","slug":"the-galician-ornithological-resources-were-present-in-the-fio-of-extremadura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/desarrollo.clusterturismogalicia.com\/en\/the-galician-ornithological-resources-were-present-in-the-fio-of-extremadura\/","title":{"rendered":"The Galician ornithological resources were present in the FIO of Extremadura"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turismo de Galicia attended this specialized fair with its own stand<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the seventh consecutive edition, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.turismo.gal\" target=\"_blank\">Tourism of Galicia<\/a> presented the ornithological resources with which it counts the territory in the <a href=\"http:\/\/fioextremadura.es\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">International Fair of Ornithology, FIO<\/a>, the most important ornithological tourism contest of Spain, held last weekend in the National Park of Monfrag\u00fce, C\u00e1ceres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0In addition to having its own exhibitor, Turismo de Galicia participated in different working meetings with the specialized operators and other informative meetings to promote the natural parks of the Galician Community as well as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.turismo.gal\/que-facer\/birding-in-galicia?langId=en_US\" target=\"_blank\">10 areas identified as the best of the areas of high interest Ornithological<\/a>: Stake of Bares and O Barqueiro; R\u00eda de Ortigueira y Ladrido; Coast of the Death; Ons-O Grove Complex; Wetlands of the Earth Tea; Montes de Cervantes (Os Ancares); Ribeira Sacra Sur (Canyon of the Sil), Serra da Enci\u00f1a da Lastra; The Limia; O\u00edmbra, Monterrei and Ver\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parallel to the fair activity, a program of activities was also developed for visitors and exhibitors, technical conferences and a working meeting with specialized tour operators.\u00a0Organized by the Junta de Extremadura, the FIO competition is considered the most important of its kind in southern Europe.
