The Conseller\u00eda do Mar<\/a> has approved the contribution of 277,000 euros under the first phase of the 2018 call for proposals for Coastal Action Groups with the aim of continuing to work on promoting synergies between these groups of local dynamisation so that they can\u00a0access information and new ideas and learn from other groups, regions or countries.\u00a0It also seeks to encourage and support innovation and to acquire skills and means that will\u00a0to improve their participatory local development strategies.<\/p>\n

Thus, the four projects approved for implementation are: Sea of Sails, Atlantic Lodging+Space\u00a0Atl\u00e1ntico<\/a>, Positioning in the market of the Galicia-Margalaica Lighthouse Route, to be executed in 2018 and 2019. The fourth project is Actions of dynamization and promotion of northern Galicia, Seas of Experiences, which will be executed during this year.<\/p>\n

Mar de Velas<\/a> is promoted by four groups, which are the GALP Seo de Fisterra R\u00eda de Muros.\u00a0Noia, who is the coordinator; the GALP Gulf of \u00c1rtabro Norte, the GALP R\u00eda de Arousa\u00a0and the GALP R\u00eda de Pontevedra. Its objective is to promote the use and management of spaces\u00a0to promote traditional marinas and the exploitation of activities\u00a0related. To this end, a strategic plan will be developed within the framework of this initiative, which will\u00a0allows the organisation and management of the varied offer of traditional boats\u00a0establishing a model for their exploitation. The Conseller\u00eda del Mar subsidizes this\u00a0project with about 53,700 euros.<\/p>\n

Morada Atl\u00e1ntica+Espacio Atl\u00e1ntico is an initiative of the eight GALPs in Galicia,\u00a0which are: GALP Costa da Morte, who is the coordinator; GALP A Mari\u00f1a Ortegal, GALP\u00a0\u00c1rtabro Norte Gulf, GALP \u00c1rtabro Sur Gulf, GALP Seo de Fisterra R\u00eda de Muros Noia\u00a0Sustainable Coast, GALP R\u00eda de Arousa, GALP R\u00eda de Pontevedra and GALP R\u00eda de Vigo-A\u00a0Guard. It also has the collaboration of groups from Andalusia, Gran Canaria and also\u00a0Portuguese. This project is a continuation and extension of the Morada Atl\u00e1ntica project, started in 2016 with the aim of developing a joint tourism initiative for the entire Atlantic coast of the European Atlantic area, while promoting the enhancement of the value of the Atlantic territories, with gastronomy as the guiding thread and developing\u00a0the Network of Atlantic Museum Sites (Rema), specialized in marine culture. The Xunta supports this initiative with 123,500 euros.<\/p>\n

Another approved project is Positioning in the market of the Route of the Lighthouses of GaliciaMargalaica, also of the eight groups that there are in Galicia. With it they seek to reinforce the Route\u00a0of the Lighthouses of Galicia<\/a>, created within the framework of the Margalaica cooperation project and subsidised in the 2016 call for proposals. This initiative is made up of more than 240 partners who provide tourist services and includes actions such as the creation of tourist products and the organization of a conference to promote this initiative. The Xunta subsidizes it with 54,850 euros.<\/p>\n

The fourth subsidised cooperation project is the Promotion and energisation actions\u00a0of North Galicia, Seas of Experiences<\/a>, promoted by the GALP A Mari\u00f1a\u00a0Ortegal, who is the coordinator, and the GALP Golfo Artabro Norte. It seeks to enhance the value of the\u00a0cultural and heritage heritage heritage related to the fisheries sector and tourism in the region\u00a0the territory of these groups and to involve the local population in the knowledge, conservation and implementation of\u00a0in value of sea heritage. For this purpose, it includes actions such as the holding of conferences
\nwith the aim of bringing together local tourism agents and workshops.\u00a0to learn about the work carried out by professional groups such as carpenters\u00a0the shore, those of the shellfish and the redeiras. This initiative is further supported by\u00a0of 45,100 euros.<\/p>\n
