Parador El Saler, in Valencia, hosted the first stage of the Senior Golf Tourist Circuit of Galicia<\/a> which is held from April to September in different parts of Spain. A hundred senior players of this sport came together to enjoy the practice of golf and Galician cuisine, which always accompanies the celebration of this event.<\/p>\n Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda Mart\u00ednez won the Scratch category with 25 points and second place in this category went to Isabel Castillo del Carpio with 24 points. The handicap winner was M\u00aa Jes\u00fas with 41 stableford points, followed by M\u00e1ximo Mart\u00edn Pastor who achieved a result of 38 points. In the ladies category, the best was Rosa M\u00aa Roig Escutia with 40 points and the winner of the mastersenior category (player over 70 years old) was Francisco Ansurias Climent with 37 points. As for the special prizes, the best drive, Martin C\u00f3dax prize, was won by Lis\u00e1n Peir\u00f3 Camar\u00f3 in the female category and Sergio Segura Laborada in the men’s category. The closest ball on hole 9, Aceites Abril prize was for Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda Mart\u00ednez (1.59 m) and on hole 12, Vi\u00f1a Farnadas prize was awarded to Isabel Castillo del Carpio (1.64 m).
