The last council of the Xunta has approved a new line of aid endowed with 16 million euros to support self-employed and SMEs in commerce, tourism, services and transport and to promote the installation of protection measures for workers and consumers. The aid, which will be allocated on a non-competitive basis, includes the provision of advances at the time of the favorable resolution of the aid for half the amount of the investments made.<\/p>\n
The aid will be used to cover expenditure on the purchase of means of protection and hygiene for the establishment’s staff and customers, as well as measures to reinforce the cleaning and disinfection of premises; the adaptation of spaces with safety equipment; the carrying out of air renewal, cleaning and ventilation work; and the provision of information to customers on hygiene and protection measures.<\/p>\n

\nIn the case of hotel and restaurant establishments, travel agencies and other tourist premises, the line of aid will cover 100% of the investment, up to 1,200 euros from a minimum of 300 euros.
