The general assembly, held at the Hotel Oca Porta do Cami\u00f1o in Santiago de Compostela, had as its main point on the agenda the renewal of its Board of Directors, following the provisions of the statutes of the association, which is now chaired by Pablo L\u00f3pez Franco, of the active tourism company based in Paderne, Marmar Outdoor SL.<\/p>\n
Together with him, Amelia Garc\u00eda, from the company Atlantis Adventure, was appointed as secretary and Felipe Martinez, from the company viveiresa Roq Sport, as treasurer. They thus give the baton to the previous Board of Directors, presided over by Agust\u00edn Rico, of the company Galaica Aventura, and in which Pablo Maci\u00f1eira, of Ortegal Surf Escuela, held the position of secretary and Esteban Troiti\u00f1o, of Desaf\u00edo Ocio, that of treasurer, and who leave as a legacy years of exponential growth of the Association, successful projects such as Galicia Destino Activo<\/a>, o the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Galician Tourism Agency and AGETAN as the only entity in the Autonomous Community that brings together active tourism companies in Galicia, for the implementation of measure 24 of the Reactivation Plan for the cultural and tourism sectors in the face of the effects of COVID -19. The new board is now facing a new stage with enthusiasm and dedication, in which they will seek to consolidate the achievements made, with the firm intention of positioning the active tourism sector in Galicia as a reference in its field. \nThe meeting also dealt with other issues of interest, such as aspects related precisely to the implementation of this Agreement, some of the association’s internal management, such as the agreement to modify the Statutes to incorporate the figures of the Members, and others related to the current situation of the active tourism sector in Galicia and its regulations and planning, aspects to which AGETAN dedicates great efforts.<\/p>\n
