The president of the Cluster, Ces\u00e1reo Pardal, is one of the speakers at the meeting held in Baiona from November 24 to 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Parador of Baiona will become over the next few days (from 24 to 26 November) a space for debate and exchange of ideas on sustainable development from the Atlantic Ocean. The Blue Atlantic Forum<\/a> (BAF), organised by the Council of Baiona<\/a> with the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra<\/a>, the Xunta de Galicia<\/a> and the European Union through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, will bring together experts from a wide range of fields to talk about fishing and aquaculture, marine biotechnology and maritime and coastal tourism. And it is in this last area, which will be addressed on Saturday 26th, that the Galicia Tourism Cluster will once again be present to give a voice to the sector.<\/p>\n

Ces\u00e1reo Pardal, president of the Cluster, is one of the speakers who will take part in the second round table scheduled for the final day of the Blue Atlantic Forum, entitled “The Galician estuaries: blue and inclusive destination”. He will be joined by Pablo Mari\u00f1o, CEO of the Bluscus<\/a> marine tourism project; F\u00e1tima Cachafeiro, manager of the Barbanza Arousa Association<\/a>, and Ruth Gonz\u00e1lez, head of the R\u00edas Baixas Tourism Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cipri\u00e1n Rivas, director general of Tourism Management and Promotion of the Canary Islands; Alberto Traversa, co-editor of the specialised magazine La Alacena Roja; Lorena Varela, manager of the R\u00edas Baixas Wine Route; Isaac Gonz\u00e1lez, head of Elemental Chefs, Elemental Strets and Rei Zentolo; Jacobo Camba, president of the \u00cddilicamente association; Severino Casal, vice-patron of the Fishermen’s Guild San Xo\u00e1n de Redondela and seafood tourism guide at Amartumar; Maruxa \u00c1lvarez, head of the Icemar advanced course; Elena Herbello, manager of the Local Action Group for the Fisheries Sector R\u00eda de Vigo; Pupe Jueguen, secretary of Amarcarril; Ana Laura Iglesias, head of Tourism at the Pontevedra Provincial Council; Silvia Gil, from the projects, communication and marketing department of Fedespesca, and Rodrigo Burgos, director of the Estrella Galicia Museum, are other guests invited to take part in the day that the Baiona forum is dedicating to tourism.<\/p>\n

The promoters of the BAF explain that it is a meeting point for public institutions and private entities to promote the development of ideas and initiatives to improve the sustainability of key sectors linked to the world of the sea and the coast. The BAF sessions can be followed in streaming free of charge on the website www.blueatlanticforum.org.
