The event, chaired by Nava Castro, allowed the beneficiary local entities to learn the details of this initiative, which consists of three Destination Cohesion Actions (DCA), with an investment of 14.9 million euros, and 11 Tourism Sustainability Plans in Destination (TSPD), promoted by local entities, which will receive a total of 17 million euros, in addition to two national TSPD that have 2.6 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The president of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Ces\u00e1reo Pardal, was also present at the event and took the floor to claim the importance of sustainability as a central element of the sector&#8217;s roadmap to ensure its future and the development of the territory. He also reiterated that collaboration between the public and private sectors is also key to achieving these objectives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The planned DCAs include actions in <strong>charming accommodation in food and wine destinations<\/strong> to enable the creation of experiences, the <strong>creation of Galicia Gastro Experience <\/strong>as a reference centre for the improvement of tourist food and wine tourism, and the implementation of a <strong>network of mobility in electric vehicles in the five wine routes of Galicia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The eleven tourism sustainability plans at the destination are:\u00a0<strong>PSTD The Anll\u00f3ns cookers<\/strong>\u00a0(promoted by the municipalities of Carballo, Coristanco, A Laracha, Ponteceso and Cabana de Berganti\u00f1os, and budgeted at 1.500,000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD Et edendo, Lucus: a historical journey through oenogastronomy\u00a0<\/strong>(Lugo, 2.000.000 euros),\u00a0<strong>PSTD Valdeorras, Millenary Wine Route<\/strong>\u00a0(O Barco, A R\u00faa, A Veiga, O Bolo, Pet\u00edn, Vilamart\u00edn, Rubi\u00e1, Larouco and Carballeda, 1.500.000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD Barbanza-Arousa. Journey through the history of flavours<\/strong>\u00a0(Ribeira, A Pobra do Carami\u00f1al, Boiro and Rianxo, 1.500.000);\u00a0<strong>PSTD O Ribeiro \u2013 O Carballi\u00f1o<\/strong>\u00a0(A Arnoia, Avi\u00f3n, Beade, Carballeda de Avia, Castrelo de Mi\u00f1o, Cenlle, Cortegada, Leiro, Mel\u00f3n, Ribadavia, Beariz, Bobor\u00e1s, O Carballi\u00f1o, O Irixo, Maside, Pi\u00f1or, Punx\u00edn, San Amaro, San Cristovo de Cea, Padrenda and Pontedeva, 1.500.000);\u00a0<strong>PSTD O Condado \u2013 A Paradanta Food and Wine Destination<\/strong>\u00a0(A Ca\u00f1iza, Arbo, As Neves, Covelo, Crecente, Mondariz, Mondariz-Balneario, Ponteareas, Salceda de Caselas and Salvaterra de Mi\u00f1o, 1.500.000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD of Vigo<\/strong>(Vigo City Council, 2.000.000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD of the Geodestination R\u00eda de Vigo and Baixo Mi\u00f1o \u201cGalician Larder\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(A Guarda, Baiona, Fornelos de Montes, Gondomar, Mos, Nigr\u00e1n, O Porri\u00f1o, O Rosal, Oia, Pazos de Borb\u00e9n, Redondela, Soutomaior, Tomi\u00f1o and Tui, 1.500.000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD O Carballi\u00f1o and the gastronomy of the Octopus<\/strong>\u00a0(Concello do Carballi\u00f1o, 1.000.000 euros);\u00a0<strong>PSTD of A Guarda<\/strong>(Concello da Guarda, 1.000.000 euros); and\u00a0<strong>PSTD O Grove. The Gastromeca.
