The municipality had started the process five years ago with the aim of increasing the promotion of its cultural, sports and heritage resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The town in Orense is part of the Ger\u00eas-Xur\u00e9s Biosphere Reserve and the Baixa Limia-Serra do Xur\u00e9s Natural Park, two territories with a powerful natural wealth and a great sustainable tourist offer. The recreational area of \u200b\u200bthe Outeiro de Cela Natural Park is one of its tourist attractions with an area of \u200b\u200b26 hectares, two river beaches, and a wooded area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, last Monday the declaration of the festival of San Antonio Ventureiro da Rigueira, in the municipality of Xove, as a Festival of Tourist Interest in Galicia was also approved. This pilgrimage is held every June 13, coinciding with the festival that commemorates the death of San Antonio de Padua.
