This increase allows Galician hotel establishments to be above pre-pandemic levels, reaching a maximum in the historical series in this seven-month period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The increase in the level of demand occurs in a context in which the volume of supply rises by 2% on average. Hotel rates are 4% higher than last year, and 17% higher than the figure for 2019, also reaching the highest figure recorded so far.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>72% of hotel nights correspond to national tourism, a segment in which the recipient has more weight, since Spaniards who come from other autonomous communities accumulate 48% of the total. The internal market, made up of Galician citizens, absorbs 24%. Foreign tourism is one of the protagonists, reaching a maximum in the historical series, both in volume (with close to 1.4 million nights) and in weight (with 28% of total demand).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hotel establishments in the provinces of A Coru\u00f1a, Lugo and Ourense manage to exceed pre-pandemic levels, reaching the first two highest figures in the historical series, with more than 2.2 million nights in A Coru\u00f1a and 611,000 nights in Lugo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With 45% of hotel nights, A Coru\u00f1a leads the hotel tourism market in the first seven months of the year. It is followed by Pontevedra (35%), Lugo (12%) and Ourense (7%). In addition, during this period the concentration of demand in the provinces of the Atlantic coast is maintained, adding up to 80% of the nights between A Coru\u00f1a and Pontevedra.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Community establishments are above pre-pandemic levels.
