It is an honorary title that indicates the tourist attraction of the festivals, contributing to its promotion and consolidation at the national and international level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Galicia is a land of celebrations: our fairs and festivals are a showcase of Galician culture, gastronomy and traditions. In total there are 15 events that have this distinction and that you should not miss in 2024:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Santiago Ap\u00f3stol Festival of Santiago de Compostela. Celebration in honor of the patron saint of the city and of Spain.<\/li>\n<li>Catoira Viking Pilgrimage. Commemoration of the Viking landings in the lands of Ulla.<\/li>\n<li>Ortigueira International Celtic World Festival. Celebration of Celtic musical tradition.<\/li>\n<li>Rapa das Bestas. Traditional celebration in which horses&#8217; manes are cut.<\/li>\n<li>Corpus Christi of Ponteareas. It stands out for the production of impressive carpets of natural flowers.<\/li>\n<li>Holy Week in Viveiro.
