This strategy, with an investment of nearly 45 million euros, seeks to promote tourism in the 61 municipalities of the province, promoting the quality of local life and the integration of visitors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This strategy is presented at a time of growth in tourism in the region, with a significant increase in visitors and tourist spending since 2019. The plan is structured into five main axes that include 42 lines of action and more than 225 specific actions with the objective to run until 2030:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The first axis, &#8220;R\u00edas Baixas Singular&#8221;, is focused on offering authentic experiences to tourists, such as visits to wineries and specific tourist routes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The second axis, &#8220;We are R\u00edas Baixas&#8221;, highlights the identity elements of the territory, such as the Camino de Santiago, the castles and the camellias.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The third axis, &#8220;R\u00edas Baixas Sostible&#8221;, focuses on tourism sustainability, promoting quality jobs and the care of natural resources.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The fourth axis, &#8220;R\u00edas Baixas \u00danica&#8221;, aims to promote the R\u00edas Baixas brand and foster a sense of belonging among the inhabitants.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The last axis addresses innovation, promoting training in digital skills and the implementation of artificial intelligence.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The presentation event had the participation of important public figures and representatives of municipalities and companies from across the province, such as the president of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, Luis L\u00f3pez Di\u00e9guez; the Tourism Deputy, Nava Castro, or the director of the Galician Tourism Agency, Xos\u00e9 Manuel Merelles. Representing the Galician Tourism Cluster, the president of the entity, Ces\u00e1reo Pardal, and the member of the CTG and manager of the R\u00edas Baixas Wine Route, Lorena Varela, attended.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Luis L\u00f3pez, president of the provincial entity, highlighted that the &#8216;R\u00edas Baixas Tourism 61 Strategy&#8217; is a step forward to build a seasonally adjusted and sustainable tourist destination, aligned with current and future provincial policies.
