The transfer ceremony was held at the Galicia stand during the first professional day of FITUR 2025 and was attended by the general director of Turespa\u00f1a, Miguel Sanz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The director of Tourism of Galicia, Xos\u00e9 Merelles, handed over the coordination to the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Cantabrian Government, Luis Mart\u00ednez Abad, highlighting the progress made during the Galician administration. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), in 2024 the \u201cGreen Spain\u201d destination received 19.8 million visitors, which represents an increase of 16% compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The growth of \u201cGreen Spain\u201d has been accompanied by a strong boost in its recognition outside our borders.
