{"id":32372,"date":"2025-05-27T08:04:57","date_gmt":"2025-05-27T08:04:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/desarrollo.clusterturismogalicia.com\/more-than-160-tourism-agents-learn-firsthand-about-galicias-offerings-at-the-galicia-tourism-cluster-workshops-in-valencia-and-porto\/"},"modified":"2025-05-27T08:04:57","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T07:04:57","slug":"more-than-160-tourism-agents-learn-firsthand-about-galicias-offerings-at-the-galicia-tourism-cluster-workshops-in-valencia-and-porto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/desarrollo.clusterturismogalicia.com\/en\/more-than-160-tourism-agents-learn-firsthand-about-galicias-offerings-at-the-galicia-tourism-cluster-workshops-in-valencia-and-porto\/","title":{"rendered":"More than 160 tourism agents learn firsthand about Galicia&#8217;s offerings at the Galicia Tourism Cluster workshops in Valencia and Porto"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>26 Galician companies, along with Turismo de Galicia, Galicia Sustainable Destination, and Turismo de Sanxenxo, participated in the event.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the Galicia Tourism Cluster brought together 26 Galician companies, institutional representatives, and tour operators in two professional meetings organized in Valencia and Porto, with the aim of strengthening the visibility of Galicia in key source markets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The meetings, held at the Veles e Vents building in Valencia and at the WOW space in Porto, served as a platform to showcase the diversity and quality of Galician tourism to more than 160 local tourism agents: 67 from Valencia and 95 from Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-six Galician tourism organizations participated in both workshops, along with representatives from Turismo de Galicia, Galicia Sustainable Destination, and Turismo de Sanxenxo, who presented Galicia as a distinctive, sustainable destination with high added value.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The president of the Cluster, Ces\u00e1reo Pardal, led the institutional presentations at both events, which also included Carmen Pita, Director of Tourism Promotion of Galicia, and\u2014at the Valencia event\u2014Miguel Jim\u00e9nez, President of AEVAV. Also joining the delegation on behalf of the Cluster were Jes\u00fas Picallo, Vice President of the Cluster; Alfonso Mart\u00ednez, Treasurer; and Francisco Gonz\u00e1lez, former President of the Cluster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both events included presentations about the Galician destination and a tasting of typical food products led by chef \u00c1lvaro Fuentes of Meloxeira Praia.
